Ireland Cancer Center

November 11th, 2008

Throughout October Main Street Cupcakes raised money for Breast Cancer awareness to donate to Dr. Stern’s office at the Ireland Cancer Center. He is a wonderful Oncologist who has an equally wonderful staff who take excellent care of their patients.  As Hudson went IN THE PINK we did our part to raise awareness for Breast Cancer and to raise funds for a deserving recipient. We chose The Ireland Cancer Center because we wanted to see our funds utilized to benefit patients directly who are currently undergoing treatment for Cancer.

Cupcake Happy Hour #3

September 25th, 2008

We held our September Cupcake Happy Hour on Friday, September 19th. It was another big hit with our Tour De Cupcake Participants. This month they chose the flavor(s). We had Triple Chocolate Raspberry, and Caramel Covered Apple. There was not a landslide favorite. Everyone seemed pretty split down the middle on which they liked best. There was enough for just about everyone to try both by the end of the evening. The Triple Chocolate Raspberry is a chocolate cake, baked with fresh raspberries and chocolate chunks, and topped with chocolate ganache and a dollop of raspberry butter creme. The Caramel Covered Apple was a perfect choice for the Fall weather. The Granny Smith apples were so crisp and juicy. They were baked right into a vanilla cake, and topped with caramel butter creme.
