Sarah Forrer, owner of Main Street Cupcakes will speak on how MSC went from one storefront in Hudson, OH to 3 retail stores, an impressive wedding and special occasion business, Home Shopping Network and a presence in a national prominent home specialty store.

“We’ve been doing this for six years, and we’ve grown every single year. We’re about to announce plans for our fourth location,” says Sarah Forrer, owner of Ohio’s Main Street Cupcakes. Forrer says Main Street was the first cupcake-only shop to open up in Ohio.

It's safe to say the cupcake craze is here to stay. When Main Street Cupcakes served up its first frosting-topped confection in Hudson almost six years ago, we jumped on the sugar-laden bandwagon and have been indulging our sweet tooth ever since. With new shops focusing on the individual tasty treats popping up every year, here's a look at some of our favorite spots and the flavors that have made them a success.

“So far we’ve been in a dead heat for which candidate is leading according to our Election Day sales,” said Sarah Forrer, co-owner of Main Street Cupcakes in Hudson, Ohio. The company is selling Election-themed treats in its stores and online.

There are all sorts of algorithms that forecast election results, but I’m partial to the food predictors—will more people buy a Republican-themed cupcake, or a Democrat-themed cupcake? Main Street Cupcakes in Ohio—a swing state!— is looking to find out with their election cupcakes.
