They are often spared the additional cake cutting fee that venues surcharge. Cupcakes are logistically quite simple when it comes to serving too. Cupcakes also bring that cutesy factor, they are a major conversation topic, and your guests will find it hard to sit still as they await dessert time. Plus, we guarantee that your cupcakes will be baked fresh on the day of your wedding. Although, towering multiple layer traditional cakes can be phenomenal, sadly, they are not often freshly baked each day. Fresh baked with the finest ingredients is a Main Street Cupcakes staple!

What is a cupcake wedding cake?

Cupcake wedding cakes are a deliciously hip alternative to the old fashioned wedding cake. Essentially cupcakes are stacked on towers that are built of ceramic and wooden tiers that resemble the form of a tall layered cake. Cupcake wedding cakes uphold tradition, but offer far more creativity, and Main Street Cupcakes offers more than 230 flavors of cake for you to choose from. That's more flavors than any bakery in the Nation.

How many cupcakes should we get for our wedding?

We suggest 1.5 cupcakes/ per guest. If you are having more than cupcakes on your dessert spread then 1 cupcake per person is typically sufficient.

How much are cupcake wedding cakes?

Pricing starts at $28/dozen. Pricing is based on the flavors you choose from our 230+ flavor menu. Additional costs apply for monogramming, personalization, and custom decorating. We also rent lovely towers ($75 rental fee) and centerpieces ($7.95/centerpiece) to display the cupcakes on during your event. 6inch cake toppers are often added to the top tier of the cupcake display for the ceremonial cake cutting and those start at $45 each at Main Street Cupcakes. (6inch cakes are reserved solely for Weddings.) Delivery and set up for all the above is an additional 20%. (Plus applicable sales tax)

What are some other options for incorporating cupcakes into my wedding day?

Cupcakes are excellent party favors as well! We offer fun Chinese style take out boxes and 4x4 clear top single serving boxes that are both adorably appointed to act as individual wedding party favors.

Can I change the cupcake liners?

We bake with white liners that became almost transparent after baking. Every once and a while clients suggest colorful liners to add to their overall theme and style of their receptions. If you have a specialty liner that you'd like us to use you're welcome to come in and show it to us and we'll gladly ask our bakers if it's something that works well with our product. That said, there are many options for keeping with the theme and style of your reception when working with Main Street Cupcakes. One of which is if you choose our most popular round tower for your cupcake display then we'll gladly wrap it in an organza color of your choice complimentary for added style.

What is the deposit requirement?

A nonrefundable deposit of $150.00 is required to lock in your date and move forward with the planning process. The $150 goes towards the entire cost of your event.

Can I come in for a cake tasting?

We offer consultations by appointment only. They are $20 and include your choice of 6 flavors of cupcakes. (The $20 is waived if you put down your deposit during the consultation) Consultation time slots book up fast, but they are not required. Twice a year we also offer group cupcake wedding cake tastings and those are typically held in March/April at each of our locations. If you can't make it to a group tasting or get in for a consultation Main Street Cupcakes is open Tuesday-Sunday from 10am-5pm or sell out and we offer 12-20 flavors a day so there are plenty of opportunities for you to taste the cupcakes before your Wedding Day.
